Dublin’s Reading Room exists because I love books, and I want to share my enthusiasm with others. Some reviews are positive, some negative, and some fall in the middle. I do not receive compensation for book reviews. My reviews contain only my personal opinion about a book.
My reading covers most genres, and I like it when authors known for a particular genre, experiment by expanding their storytelling talents into other genres. Examples include: Rita Mae Brown, John Grisham, and Tess Gerritsen. An author’s branching out of their “comfort zone” tells me that he or she is willing to take risks with his or her writing, and I admire that chutzpah.
